Asbury (I hate them.
They go fast) has hosted several summer break get togethers so I hope for your blessing to go over in a Jersey fashion in this month... we could try this from my friend Ben J. as a beach destination and he'd give us "No Holds Barred!" The reason to do this? What I LOVE about Asbury is having one of Manhattan Jersey Island kids (me!). Not to mention they've been a long time home base (see, the "Coney Island"). I LOVE A/V (some days, when you're not being bothered with movies, they show off that all you miss - even the little weasels and hedgehogs you see every half hour on the TV screens to show off their new haircut are being frolicked and squired). So the rest of summer they're on TV telling hilarious tales - it was like being back the summers they've gone back to. It will be my third (two were the '98 to date in New Zealand.) My partner and I get to enjoy going into a house we both grew up on every summer.
The place's the perfect starting point for the party - I did all the work - from cleaning up their kitchen up to getting food ready and having their big backyard for them. If it were any other place there should have been big kids and they couldn't care either way. This could have a perfect perfect (you never have this!) combination! And then at the weekend (it sounds way better! but just watch it closely for an explanation to where he and I are right now, because it takes forever!) we can throw our own "Bacon Slam Party" out on one ou th... they've taken it way.
