It's the fifth festival marking Black-O (also called 'The Block'), as an event series dedicated primarily to African-American artists featuring artists inspired to pursue an artistic life out of the African-Congregations in Downtown Milwaukee – this season, on April 8 and 12! It is located inside of the former Bank of America Park where Downtown WI State History Museum (dwell on the site and showcase current and prior performances that occurred during the first 100's as "The Block.") showcases artists ranging from iconic, award-winning dance acts through to recent musical debuts…the music world of the future continues on August 24 with Chicago based house pop band The Roots' World Peace Showcase as featured at a FREE musical showcase on stage that night where hundreds across the city, world stage, can connect, sing along- to hear about that big sound.
